Danielle Bauman was blessed to be born and raised in Mammoth Lakes, where she started taking ballet at three years old at Miss Aggie’s Dance Studio. She fell in love with dancing and over the years continued to practice ballet, and started dancing pointe at age 10. During this time she also took lessons and performed in tap, jazz, and lyrical. Miss Aggie retired when Danielle was 14, and at that time Danielle began to focus on soccer and volleyball as there wasn’t much of a dance community at that time in Mammoth. After graduating, Danielle ventured down to San Diego and attended San Diego State University to study Kinesiology. At SDSU, Danielle took Aerobic Dance, dropped into as many adult ballet classes as she could, and also completed a summer intensive ballet course at City Ballet School of San Diego. Now Danielle is a fitness instructor at Snowcreek Athletic Club and Double Eagle Resort and Spa where she is able to feel like a dancer when she teaches Barre and to get her dance fix teaching Zumba. Danielle is very excited that Snowcreek is offering this wonderful dance program, and she is honored to be a part of it to share her love for dance in hopes that Mammoth will now have a permanent dance community.
